Pre-Sales Engineer / Consultant

This role will be to assist in the pre-sales function, ensuring up to date and authorised RA technical information, product updates, on-site demonstrations and presentation of Roscom’s products and solutions.

Main responsibilities:
• On-site product presentations and demonstrations
• Technical sales support and generation of sales documentation for the sales team
• Management and participation in RFx response

Essential Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years in customer facing role, preferably in Pre-sales
• 3-5 years in the telecoms industry
• Strong Linux, UNIX, scripting, and MySql experience
• Understanding and experience of the basic concepts of relevant IT, Billing, Revenue Assurance and Telecom technologies
• Awareness and understanding of technological standards within the telecoms market
• Good command of spoken and written English

General qualities:
• Ability to assume a technical leadership role in one or more of the technologies associated with supporting the Osprey product line
• Development of technical documentation and training associated with the technical competency role
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle concurrent issues, projects and tasks in a controlled and systematic manner to ensure high-quality support of customers and partners
• Availability to travel extensively to support pre-sales in all of the company's regions
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as a dedicated team member
